Posted: 16 March 2008 Iain Abernethy recently conducted a Karate Jutsu seminar at Carlow Wadokai Dojo. The training focused on the close quarter fighting applications of the 5 Pinan Kata of Wado Ryu. A full historical background and insight into the character and development of these most important Kata was expertly conducted by Iain, and all members who attended the seminar agreed that he is to be highly commended for his hard work and research into this much neglected area of Karate training. Iain will return again to Carlow in the near future. |
